As a card-carrying nerd, I always suspected I'd like exploring stories through immersive play but it wasn't until I had a go that I knew that I LOVED it. My role has gone from simply playing to also running my own campaigns, writing D&D stories to explore with my friends and hosting live D&D events.Â

Below are a collection of my best and favourite D&D one-shots.
In an underground speakeasy, the music has just cut out and the screaming has begun. With a big shot gangster dead (and the exit barred) the party must unmask the killer before the room turns on itself.

The players have been hired to steal the magical necklace worn by the host of a grand party taking place in the ballroom of an art-deco manor house.

Can they find the noble and steal her necklace without being caught? The Dungeons & Decadence game is perfect for players who love heisting, role play & grand opulence in a Great Gatsby setting.

The party awakes in Rapture - a crumbling art deco city at the bottom of the sea, built by visionaries and destroyed by addicts. The air is thinning and the glass protecting them is groaning.

ESCAPE FROM RAPTURE
The tide is coming in and it’s bringing a debt that can only be paid in blood. Eldritch horrors have risen from the depths to reclaim the boardwalk from those who desecrated the seas.

In this Lovecraftian nightmare, the party is fighting to protect the innocent and survive.

THE GREAT OLD ONES
To encounter this mechanical carnival, you’d have to truly be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Those who have stumbled upon the fate during their travels across the Withermarsh Dust Bowl desert speak of the enthralling, endless ticking music with no source, the candle-lit booths selling cursed gadgets and the haunted rides with no operators.Â

Defeating the ringleader and his thumping anatomical heart-beast is the party's only chance of survival.

THE BONE DUST CARNIVAL
In 2025, I joined forces with two friends - Shaun Graham and Dave Norton - to create DARKVISION CREATIVE. I write, Dave is a multi-media extraordinaire and Shaun is the ultimate Dungeon Master.Â

Together we have hosted D&D LIVE events and ran hundreds of D&D tables both online and in person.

We're passionate about bring immersive play to everyone in a safe space where they can be themselves - or someone else entirely.Â
​
As we prep for our next live shows, we also run a Discord server, providing a place for curious beginners and seasoned players.
