These are works that have earned top placements across The Black List (8 Score), Coverfly (Top 1%), and won the Steven Knight Screenwriting Competition.

THE SOVEREIGN
When three journalists secretly visit an isolated nation built on utopian, environmental ideals, each must choose whether to report on the story or become part of it.

Our journalists find themselves with a new life on The Amica Isles for six weeks. Tasked with investigating the many rumours, mysteries and accusations, Lana, Gale and Olly must find the truth beneath the façade without getting seduced themselves.
LONE WOLVES
After a blood-thirsty pirate queen invades their lands, a fiercely independent bandit has no choice but to rely on a spoiled princess with untamed magical powers.

LONE WOLVES is a female-led fantasy adventure set on the Isle of Man in the 1700s that weaves mystical elements into a dramatic narrative to explore the grounded themes of love and trust.
MARY SHELLEY: LIFE & DEATH & LIFE
Raised in a broken home and inspired by the ideologies of freedom and feminism from her late mother, a melancholic teenager tries to earn the respect of her stoic father whilst on an arduous journey to publish her first novel.

Set in the present day, this show is the modern reimagining of the life of Mary Shelley. With ongoing themes of resurrection, acceptance and mental health struggles, this story will explore Mary Shelley’s turbulent life and how it creatively inspired the story of Dr Frankenstein and his monster.
FADING AGENCY
When a burly detective inherits his ill father’s failing PI agency, he charges ahead, determined to help the local working class community by solving their mysteries. But as his body begins to betray him after a recent Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis, he must reconcile what his personal value is to those around him.

Set in a working-class town in the midlands, FADING AGENCY is a procedural drama where the usual high-tech equipment is swapped for archaic technology and where sleek laboratories give way to the dingy, family cottage of Nels and Joanna Harper - siblings stuck together trying to save their father’s business before he passes.
UNDERGROUND
When a disgraced ex-police officer is hired to find a billionaire's missing son, she descends into London’s hidden, subterranean labyrinth, only to realise too late that she and her team are traversing the 17th-century network of tunnels, caves and catacombs for a far more sinister reason.

UNDERGROUND is a high-concept psychological thriller blending modern science fiction with 17th century gothic horror. By subverting a familiar missing person procedural early on, the show instead offers to take viewers on a wild ride through an unmapped, unexplored, untamed city beneath the city. What lurks around a corner in The Underground could be anything from an illegal rave, a criminal syndicate in hiding, a bio-lab with a dangerous beast inside or a feral humanoid that’s only ever known the darkness.
UPSHOT ACADEMY
After a rebellious teenager is sent to a correctional behavioural school, she must overthrow her brutal captors for any hopes of turning her life around.

Based on the true tales of those sent to abusive correctional behavioural schools - mostly the infamous Élan School in Maine in the 1970s - THE UPSHOT ACADEMY is a modern retelling of the controversial and humiliating ‘therapy’ rebellious students endured.
WRECKWOOD
When a hardworking philanthropist refurbishes the abandoned town of Wreckwood as a shelter for victims of domestic abuse, she discovers that the scorned, men-hating coven of witches inhabiting the surrounding forest pose an even graver danger to those she is desperate to protect.

WRECKWOOD is a female-led, present day drama set in the Peak District that weaves horror into a story about abuse and our reaction to it as humans. Each character represents a different reaction, demonstrating that this heavy subject is nuanced.
LOVETT
In search of profits for her pub, a penniless but resilient woman conspires with a murderous stranger to unscrupulously climb the social ladder of an unforgiving Georgian London - despite bringing out the very worst in each other.

LOVETT is the macabre tale of Violet Lovett, a destitute fortune teller turned publican, struggling to sell a single pie or ale who encounters Sweeney Todd, an enigmatic sailor with askew morals and murderous intentions.

THE DEBUTANTE'S DIARY
Seeking revenge for her father's 'accidental' death, a grieving conwoman must convince London's wealthy elite she is one of them in order to get closer to her target.

Written as an experiment in 30min dark comedy, this script is inspired by my time working in Knightsbridge and feeling that I would never fit in unless I pretended.
